2011 Ford F-450/Frazer Remount-Refurb

"The First Frazer in Washington County (Texas) Without A Generator"

Led by Lt. Tanner Jacob Of Washington County EMS, they had one of their Frazer's remounted onto a
new chasis. But, this is the first of it's kind.
It was the first Frazer that Washington County has taken the onan generator off and utilized
a belt driven generator powered by the diesel chassis.
It was remounted onto a Ford F-450 6.7 Liter Power stroke, extended cab, a first for the department.
There is no separate gasoline powered Onan generator to power the module.

Instead, after months of research, development, and training,
a Mobile Electric Power Solutions, Inc Generator was placed under the hood, the first ever in an ambulance,
and the generator is very small. It runs on it's own belt. When the chassis engine is running, it powers a 120 volt A/C system
on steroids, as well as the rest of the electrical needs of the module up to 6.3 kW's. (compared to the Onan 5.5kW)
The new AC System literally cools the ambulance in a minute or two with a blast of cold air,
thanks to Frazer using a much needed new dometic AC system.
The generator doesn't break a sweat, and the chassis engine's idle does not change.

This generator
also powers a refrigerator for thrombolytics,
temperature controlled drugs, and induced hypothermia cooling.
The key changes will be noted above each photos.

This unit will be on display at the Texas EMS conference.

The extended cab allow for ride alongs, especially with the EMS Explorer Post.
It also stores the two sets of safety gear for each crew members, and
provides a more spacious cabin for seat recline.

The backup camera system also includes a camera in the module, so the driver can monitor
what is going on in the back. This is helpful in a Type I ambulance.

Frazer always includes an easy-to-read electrical schematic and reference

Wiring is very easy to follow, and each wire and terminal is labled.
