Mission Statement EMTBravo is established to serve a community of people who have an interest in a particular area, it is a place for people to exchange ideas, thoughts and comments and a place where people can discuss things which they find interesting or important. |
History EMTBravo was founded on January 1st, 2003 by Seth Granville, AKA "EMTBravo" AKA "x635". Initially, the site consisted of photos and information that Seth recieved and shared via an email list. To grow on the email list idea, a website to put this information up, as well as Seth's own photos, came EMTBravo.com. A popular feature of EMTBravo.com was the "News" section, in which readers would send in information about local apparatus deliveries, synopsis of incidents, upcoming tests, etc. Also popular was the members who sent in photos, which were posted in features on the site. |
Growth As EMTBravo.com grew by word of mouth, the site got bigger and busier. In November of 2003, EMTBravo.com launched the EMTBravo Network Forums, something to expand on the news section. The forums were intended to replace the news section, and give readers of the site membership in a positive, constructive, and freindly enviroment in which to exchange knowledge, information and ideas. This forum has grown into a community of over 9,000 registrations, 30,000 topics, and 200,000 posts at the time of writing. Our membership has a wealth of knowledge to share, and we continue to work hard to cultivate the forums and try to make it one of the best communities on the web. |

EMTBravo Spinoffs EMTBravo.com has spawned two spinoffs in late 2006: EMTBravoSouth.com, and EMTBravoWest.com.Those forums for their respective areas. As it's difficult to grow a succesful forum, we continue to get the word out there and recruit members so that we can duplicate the sucess of the EMTBravo.com forums so that these regions can share knowledge, information, and ideas. |
EMTBravo Merchandise An EMTBravo Merchandise store was launched in March of 2007, and sold out of inventory quickly. There are currently plans to offer more EMTBravo branded merchandise in the near future |

EMTBravo Operations EMTBravo is headquartered in Ardsley, NY (Westchester County). All site operations, development, and adminstration are based there. All forum staff work remotely. |
