The Refurbishment Of Bedford Hills MA-9

Bedford Hills Mini-Attack 9, a 1989 International/4x4 Saulsbury, was recently sent to Gowans-Knight Fire Apparatus in Watertown, CT for an upgrade and refurbishment. MA-9 functions as a rescue support unit, responding to all MVA's and rescue calls, as well as a brush fire unit. The upgrade/refurbishment provided for MA-9's increased multifunctional role and increased its lifespan by increasing compartment space and reconfiguring equipment. It also received scotchlite striping and upgraded warning devices, including intersection, front, and rear strobes, and an Arrowstick. The truck was also completly repainted, brining it into the current BHFD scheme as well as repairing some of the wear that had occured in this trucks 15 years.
